This is based on a past newsletter I sent out but I got a lot of great feedback on it so I’ve decided to post the recipe on the blog :)

Today I want to share with you a quick, easy, and DELICIOUS recipe for homemade nut milk.  This is one of my favorites!  I like making nut milk from soaked whole almonds and nuts on occasion too but this is just an easy and very legal cheat, in my opinion.  Plus, you can make it in about 3 minutes! I think you can have so much more fun with raw food and raw food recipes when you have nut milk on hand too :)

I’ll also share with you a couple links to my new FAVORITE site to order superfoods and supplements from–IHERB.COM. Most of the time you can get free shipping (if over $40).  If not, shipping is just $2!

Nutmilk Ingredients and Recipe:
6 cups of filtered water
3 Tablespoons of  Trader Joe’s Brand (or your favorite) Raw Creamy
Almond Butter
2 dropperfuls of liquid Vanilla Crème Stevia

1 Tablespoon Non-GMO soy lecithin

Optional: ½ dropperful of Liquid Toffee Stevia (this is what I do :)
Blend in your blender for a minute or so (no–you don’t even need a VitaMix for this one!) and then pour through a nut milk bag into a bowl.  Strain (this is the easiest part when using nut butter) and then put into a glass jar or container and store in the fridge.  Try not to drink it all in one day like I’ve done before!

Of course you can use any other sort of raw nut butter to do this too.  The idea is to keep it REAL simple and tasty.

Question of the Day: Do YOU ever use nut butter to make your nut milk?
