Fun with pizza and ormus over the weekend

Have any of you gotten into Ormus yet?  It seems to be the subject of every other audio and visual clip coming out of www.thebestdayever.com now (in other words, it is David Wolfe’s favorite topic right now).  Ormus are “minerals that appear to be intrinsic to all life and are likely directly associated with consciousness and life-force energy.”  Lately, The Best Day Ever moderators have been posting a ton of videos on how to make your own Ormus on YouTube.  I’ve been watching them a lot lately and last week, I finally bought some magnets and electrical tape at Target and set out to make some ormus-charged supersmoothies over the weekend.  Above is a picture of my new magnetized blender.  Check out the link above for instructions on how to make your own for less than $5.00.  Len Foley (David Wolfe’s assistant on The Best Day Ever) noted that he now puts in about half the amount of herbs and superfoods he did before YET he feels like he’s getting a more powerful effect from them when he makes the smoothies with the magnetic blender.  Crazy stuff.  I’m not quite sure if that’s what I’ve experienced just yet but I’ve only made one smoothie with the magnets on so far.  If this seems pretty far out for you, I would still encourage you to try it out.  Why not? It’s super cheap and it seems like it’s definitely “stacking the odds in your favor,” AND could save you a bundle!  Watch the videos when you get a chance.  There’s lots of good stuff on youtube about water too.  Daniel Vitalis is the next David Wolfe!

Our pizza night definitely went well on Friday.  We’re going to try it again, of course, improving the seed cheeze flavor and maybe add some pesto on top, but overall, it was a lot of fun, and of course–delicious.   I hadn’t made a raw food dish this time consuming for a while and missed how much more FUN it makes the meal.  For the base, I made some almond-flax crackers with italian seasonings, celtic sea salt, and nutritinal yeast, the seed cheese was made out of sprouted sunflower seeds, ground seasame seeds, ground almonds, and Rejuvelac, and the marinara sauce was made using sundried tomatoes, tomatoes, bell pepper, italian seasonings, salt, garlic, and extra virgin olive oil.  My boyfriend did the assembly, adding on avos, olives, dehydrated onions, and chopped up mushrooms marinated in some Braggs.  Amazing ;)

Here’s a great article I read the other day by David Wolfe (I’ve been getting e-mail bulletins from his company lately and always feel compelled to read his articles).  I think it is a pretty good one, addressing some of the nutritional concerns raw foodists (and non-raw foodists) have when it comes to health and mental well-being. DW suggests his food-based ethical solutions to address these concerns. Of course, most of us can’t afford too many of these supplements, but it is a good idea to use a few or as many as possible as an “insurance base” to our nutritional program.  You can read it here.

Enjoy the week! ~L
