Easy Raw Kale Chip Recipe

Who’s got the munchies?
Here’s an easy recipe for Kale Chips. These are absolutely amazing. A bit of sweetness, a bit of saltiness, a bit of fat, definitely a bit of chlorophyll…who could ask for anything more? A perfect snack! Festive looking too…. :) They sell them at Karyn’s Fresh corner for $6-$8 per container but I figured out how to make them (it’s easy) and now I make them myself!
Ingredients 1-2 bunches of kale. (Depending on how much space you want to dedicate in your dehydrator to this.
¼ cup honey
¼ cup lemon juice
¼ cup olive oil
1. Mix the three ingredients together in a blender and place in a large shallow bowl or dish.
2. Dip or swish each washed whole leaves in the dressing.
3. Either wring out the leaves, give them a good shake, or spin them lightly in a salad spinner.
4. Lie out the leaves on the teflex sheets and dehydrate of 12 + hours until dry and crisp (try not to overlap them too much) .
You may have to experiment a bit in order to figure out the right amount of dressing to leave on there. I like to leave a bit more on so it’s like candied kale!
Enjoy. Try not to eat it all at once! ;)
